Who doesn’t love a scruffy pup? I mean, really. How can you not? Cinny is a rescue terrier mix who, somehow, wound up in a shelter near Fresno. Thankfully, she found her way down to Helen Woodward Animal Center in San Diego, where she was adopted by her mom.
Cinny is an absolute sweetheart who loves her mom more than anything in the world. All she wants is to be held and loved! Cinny’s mom knew she wanted to get lots of photos of the two of them together, to really capture the bond they share. We had their session at their home, where Cinny is most comfortable and relaxed.
Here’s a little from Cinny’s mom…
I have always had dogs and cats and lost my last animal about a year ago. I had just been diagnosed with a serious cancer so I waited for awhile to see how the treatments went before considering adopting another animal.
Last June I decided it was time and I found Cinny at a local shelter. It was love at first sight and I think we do a great job of meeting each other’s needs. She now has me very well trained and I can not imagine a better canine friend!
She has had some medical needs and recently had to have surgery for a problem she was born with. After 10 days in intensive care and some after surgery complications, she came home with a feeding tube and a number of other issues. She is now almost back to normal and has regained her personality and little terrier attitude! She is still partially blind and may stay so but she does just great.
She loves going for her daily walk and hanging out with her people (her mom and aunt). She is relearning how to play with toys and is working on relearning her doggie training.
