Project “Brand Building” for the dooloop
The dooloop is a magical leash accessory that attaches to any leash and carries your dog’s full poop bag so you don’t have to. (It’s one of those products that makes you wonder how you lived your entire life without it.) It was my first commercial shoot entirely full of, and focused on, poop!
The dooloop needed to be brought to light for this brand. The photos needed to convey a sense of elegance and function for the everyday pet parent without conveying a sense of “disgust,” because, well… poop.
Most of the time commercial clients are very hands-on throughout the entire project, but the dooloop owner gave me free reign to unleash my Westway creative genius. It’s quite a thrill to be entrusted with someone’s masterpiece in its entirety — especially as a first-time client!
HOW WESTWAY WENT WILD FOR THE DOOLOOP

All the little details — the collars and leashes, and the amazing sparkle light we got during this shoot, really bought this product’s imagery full circle. I still shriek with excitement when I come across some of my shots for this brand being used in articles that highlight amazing pet products, like this holiday gift guide from dailymom.com.
