Great American Road Trip: Commercial Pet Photography from Around the United States
Westway Studio’s 2O22-23 Great American Road Trip
In mid-May 2022, we (Terran, Greg, and Roxy) set off for six months of adventure around the U.S. in our Airstream. Our goal was to explore, visit friends & family, and see more of the beautiful country we call home. We weren’t sure if we were going to love it or hate it but we didn’t ever want to ask ourselves “what if.” As it turned out, we absolutely loved being on the road and decided to permanently split our time between traveling in our Airstream between April – September and being in San Diego from October – March.
During our travel season, we have three trip sponsors who join us on our big adventure. Each month, we create fresh content for them with new dogs, people, and locations as we travel across the United States.
The images above are a sampling of some of our favorite shots. We have photographed dogs and their people from the white sand beaches of Florida to the rocky Maine coastline, majestic mountain views in Wyoming, glacial lakes in Northwest Montana, and a whole lot in between.

FINAL RESULTS
The results of this project have been well-received by each of our trip sponsors. We regularly get emails like “we LOVE the photos” and “there are too many good ones to choose!” We have done photo shoots in Florida, Vermont, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, California, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. We are grateful to our trip sponsors who put their trust in us to create beautiful imagery for them all along the way!
