The Found Project
THE FOUND PROJECT
I believe strongly in pet adoption and hope that one day, every homeless animal will have a warm bed, loving family, proper veterinary care, and plenty of food. I believe that all animals — whether from a breeder, shelter, or rescue — can be equally extraordinary.
The Found Project sets out to tell the stories of rescue and shelter pets who are doing some incredible things with their second chances — things maybe thought to only be for the specially-bred or something one might never dream would be a job for an animal. The end goal is to publish a book featuring stunning portraits of the animals doing what they do best that will inspire people to rescue and adopt.
I hope you will join me on this photographic journey to tell the stories of these exceptional animals!
Are you the guardian of a rescue or shelter animal who is now doing something extraordinary with his or her second chance? I want to tell your pet’s story!
Your animal’s type does not matter — dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, and any other critters are all welcome to participate!
Let’s show the world how amazing every animal can be, no matter the start he or she got in life. Sometimes we know the backstory and sometimes we don’t but what matters is that despite being abandoned, these animals still trust and love us. Maybe they help raise awareness for a cause, inspire their humans to do something meaningful, or have become a service or working animal; the possibilities are endless.
As a special thank-you for participating in The Found Project, you will get:
