Commercial Dog Photography: It’s Doggie Bath Time with Aquapaw
Dirty dogs have more fun. It’s a proven fact. Don’t believe me? Look it up. OK, maybe don’t do that — but just look at any dog who’s covered in mud and smiling proudly (like Moby or Rocket here) and you’ll know it’s true.
Unfortunately for dirty doggos, they need to be cleaned. And bath time with a dog can be a struggle.
As a mom of a dog who hates getting baths, the moment I saw the Aquapaw Pro Grooming Tool, I knew I needed it in my life immediately. It had only been teased on their website so understandably, I was excited to get to try it out at our photo shoot!
First up was our dirty dog, Moby. He was going to get a bath outside with the hose. The Aquapaw Pro makes it super easy to wet, scrub, and rinse with just the press of a button — and the scrubbies get out so much extra dirt and loose hair! I swear this post isn’t an advertisement; I just love this product so much and I can’t stop raving about it!
Moby’s little blep gets me every time.
Our second dirty dog was Rocket! Rocket got into some pretty gnarly mud and desperately needed a bath. She was so proud of herself when she was dirty (see above LOL) but sat stoically in the tub, waiting for what was to come next… She didn’t know bath time was about to get FUN!
Rocket absolutely loved the massaging scrubbies and leaned right into them as all the dirt washed away with the warm water.
And then… the pièce de résistance… the Aquapaw Slow Treater filled with a peanut-buttery gift from the bath time gods.
A peanut butter snack and a massage at the same time? I’d be smiling a big goopy smile, too, Rocket!
After getting dried off, she was so happy to be clean and to get to snuggle with her mom again!
Next up: Penny the doodle! So many dirty doggos in one day! Penny was over-the-top adorable and so happy and excited to be taking a bath! She had a smile on her face the whole time and really enjoyed having her coat get gently scrubbed.
And look at her majestic curls!!!!!!!!!
Penny is even ridiculously adorable getting dried off.
Penny and Rocket made it onto the new packaging, too! How cool is that?
Oh, and did I mention Jeremy was here doing video, too? He was! And here is the final piece!
